Today saw the first round of the Ulster Karting Club Championship at Nutts Corner. There was a good turn out on this sunny, but very
windy, day. Racing was very tight in all categories and right throughout the field, whether they were first or tenth no place was given up without a fight. I was nice to see some new karts and livery on display.
The racing was split into 5 categories – Bambino, Lame and Honda Cadets, Mini and Junior Max, Senior Max and 125 Gearbox machines. With all competitors getting good track time, Practice, two heats, a pre-final and final.
