The first round of the NIKA Championship was hosted today by
the 500 MRCI Kirkistown Karting Club. While the number of entries may have been
down, the racing was still first class – and from the smiles on everyone’s
faces it turned out to be a very enjoyable event.
On the day there were 4 categories, Bambinos; Cadets; Mini
& Junior Max; and Senior Max. Winners. With all competitors getting good
track time, Practice, two heats, a pre-final and final.
