First Saturday in a while that we did not get drenched in rain, although there was a bitter wind at the Agadowey circuit. The circuit had a nice mixture of tarmac and gravel to provide a challenging event for the drivers. A few of the buggies got caught out with the change of grip around the circuit, with two big rolls during the first three rounds of races, thankfully no one appeared to be seriously hurt with medics quickly on the scene, unfortunately the machinery didn’t come off just as well!
There was an interesting mix of cars racing, from the full blown rally cars, buggies though to standard road machinery. It was also great to see a number of young novice drives cutting their motorsport teeth at events like these. Also big thanks to all the management at RSA, marshals, safety crew, medics for putting on another great event.
