This is the first time I have had the chance to photograph MX on a beach and what great fun it was. The event was run by Knock MCC with support from the main sponsor The Tivoli Bar and Lounge. We arrived down on the beach about 30mins before the event was due to start and nothing was out but over the next 30 minutes as the tide withdrew the course was build by a very efficient crew.
There was a limited number of riders but that didn’t detract from the racing, although we saw two clear winners, young Checoby Rainey in the juniors, who showed the boys the way home; and in the seniors William Barr showed a clean set of heals the senior field.
