Irish Kart GP sponsored Pitstop Motors NI and King of the Corner supported by SC Rentals was held at Nutts Corner over the weekend 21st and 2nd Aug . In addition to the normal competitors the event seen lots of new names, both from Ireland and also from GB which is great to see. The chosen charity for the weekend was the NI. Air Ambulance charity.
Unfortunately, I could only make the Saturday racing and missed out on the Sunday finals but racing was as tight as ever as racers fought for vital points and grid positions. Another great event organised by the Ulster Karting Club and to all the officials, marshals, medics and racers thanks for a great day’s racing. While the weather was a little mixed it certainly was not as bad as the forecast, and it didn’t prevent very close fought battles in all the categories.
