While the numbers were fairly low for this meeting it didn’t affect the quality of the racing, with battles in all the classes. Before lunch there was some light rain which meant that all the field were running on wet tires but there was very little standing water to make the conditions too bad. This all changed at lunch time with the heavens opened for about half an hour bringing a complete change to the conditions. There was standing water at many of the corners and while most couped fairly well in the wet conditions it did bring a few scary moments for some as a number of photos show.
On the day there were 5 categories, Bambinos; Cadets; Mini Max, Junior Max; and Senior Max. With all competitors getting good track time, Practice, two heats, a pre-final and final.
